A lot of the raw materials used in Purva Naturals products are grown by them on their own farms using organic farming techniques.

Additional materials needed are sourced from organic farmers personally known to them. These are established organic farmers who have been a part of the Organic Farming Movement for over 5 years.

They also rely on their own internal inspection rather than third party certifications. All this ensures that all raw materials are genuinely organic.

All Purva Naturals products are made using their own in-house facilities for storage, drying, milling and post production processing like filtration and packing.

The oil press and other machinery used are designed by the founder, Mr Raja Shankar himself, with a focus on quality & hygiene. No process or part thereof is outsourced.

In addition, their maximum production capacity is restricted to ensure that there is micro management and careful supervision of every stage of production.

All this ensures that there is a complete overview on all stages of the production process.

Purva Naturals is obsessed with ensuring that all their products are organic & stay chemical-free.

Apart from choosing raw materials that are cultivated chemical-free, they have also chosen manufacturing processes that do not have any chemical use whatsoever.

Purva Naturals products are as simple and straightforward as their business itself. No heating in oil production, no chemicals, no solvents and no preservatives. The raw materials are 100% organic.

Can it be more transparent?

The Founder-Managing Director of Sriram Foods which owns the brand Purva Naturals is Mr. Raja Sankar. He is a Science graduate by training with a leaning towards mechanics.

He left his cushy job as a Director at Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) to take up organic farming full time.
